CLASSES
This class is aimed mostly at beginners, but is also suitable for more advanced practitioners wanting to touch up on the fundamental techniques and concepts in BJJ and grappling.
FUNDAMENTALS
A 45-60 minute class focusing on various techniques found in BJJ - from positional concepts, to submissions, escapes, passing, and so forth. Teaching is a mixture of traditional instruction and task-based games to better help implement the techniques within a live scenario.
TECHNQIUE
Sparring / positional
A mixture of live sparring from an array of different positions found in BJJ and grappling, alongside goal-orientated sparring and regular sparring.
Aiming to build functional strength and conditioning, alongside elements of mobility, specific to BJJ. Includes the use of kettlebells, gymnastic rings, medicine balls and traditional wrestling-style conditioning workouts.

our coach
David Orchin is the head coach and owner of Assemble Jiu Jitsu.
He has been training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for over 10 years, and has been fortunate enough to train at multiple BJJ gyms across the world - including a 6 month period under world renowned coach Lachlan Giles.
With formal qualifications in Strength and Conditioning, Personal Training, and a Master of Science in Return to Performance and Sports Injuries, David has extensive experience and a genuine passion for human movement.
His dream is to provide a facility where he can share his knowledge of BJJ and fitness, helping you develop not only as a martial artist, but improving your overall health and fitness along the way.
